Where Did the Days Go?

I'm in disbelief that it's been more than three weeks since I've found a moment to sit down and write. During this time, I've said "farewell" to many bike group pals, my AirBnB family, and my friend Martha and her daughter Annika. I've also spent nearly a week at the hostel on the lake to play tourist in downtown Austin (and meet new faces), then enjoyed relaxing and tourist time with family in San Antonio. 

I could tell dozens of tales from the past few weeks, but honestly, do I have time to write them, and would you find time to read them? Instead, I'll let the photos speak for me. 

I'm now in my last of five nights in Texas at Possum Kingdom State Park, just 300 miles north of the cities. It's where I'm adapting to life in my tent once again, and tomorrow, I roll at dawn to the Chickasaw National Recreation Area in Sulphur, Oklahoma. Summer travel officially begins here.
