Thank heaven I take photos, as I keep wondering where the past month has gone with less work than expected, less cycling than I would like, yet quite a bit of reading, socializing, eating, weather griping, and trip anticipation! I'm ready for take-off to New Zealand this Thursday. Packed, and as excited as I can be for the long travel haul, and a bit of a loosey-goosey itinerary that covers the entire country! A few butterflies, and a lot of "I can't wait" going on here. Many people have asked if I'll be blogging from the islands. My short answer is "perhaps". While my smartphone will be my only device (and I hope it works!), I do have a few hostel stops with WiFi. So, while I doubt that I'll be telling stories before my return in late December, I do hope to share some magnificent photos and a few comments along the way! Na roa hoki inaianei.

Donna ~ Can you not believe the Symphony? Thanks to my sister Anne who is a season ticket holder; BCC is location! Recommend! And yes, old home week cycling through the neighborhoods! Await your NZ comment -- I know it's lengthy!!! Quite a trip and I had to digest it after the fact! Great to see you, as always! but not enough! J.
