An all-day push to the western region of South Carolina brought me to an Airbnb suite in a nice neighborhood with a busy, young family. I was avoiding the coast as it’s high season, and there was Aiken – a name I recognized but a place I’ve never been.

SUZ: Nope, no eating out at all, in fact. Busy down on Main Street and not yet in the unmasking comfort zone! Temps were good in Aiken but I'm now at my 3rd stop in Florida -- hotter than hot! J

Hey, Judy! From the Colleton Ave. shade trees to the La Parisienne omelet, what a delightful destination spot. I'm impressed with what you captured in four days. So glad to see formidable library buildings.

AMG: Yes, Aiken was a real surprise so I was motivated to be running about for 10 hour days or more! After the NC physical pains, I couldn't resist the ease of this title! j.
